Trailer

Game Play

In Stray, players will assume the role of a clever cat who is responsible for solving mysteries amid a futuristic setting. Players will be joined by B12, a robot companion who never leaves the cat’s side. The main plot of Stray’s story will have the pair attempt to solve an age-old mystery in the heart of the forgotten cyber city, which has a distinctly post-apocalyptic feel.

The graphics in the trailer are alone stunning, as viewers are introduced to a neon-lit, futuristic city, which appears to take direct inspiration from Japan’s bustling downtown. Humans have seemingly been obliterated from the city – graffiti reading “RIP Humans” is visible – leaving the animals to fend for themselves against the wide variety of robots posing a threat to their well-being. It appears droids have completely taken over the city, as they can be seen doing everyday activities and tasks, such as dining at a restaurant and gossiping with friends.
